Dr. Gage received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from Hunter College, a Masters of Arts in School Psychological Services and a Doctorate in Child/School Psychology from New York University. She conducted extensive research on child development and has been a presenter at several national organizations such as The American Psychological Association and the National Association of School Psychologists.
She has been an active member of her community as an advocate for children’s social and emotional wellness and the rights of students with learning differences. Her mission is to help all children thrive in school, at home, and throughout life. She has been instrumental in implementing several successful programs in our community such as the Mainstream Instructional and Behavioral Consultation Program for the Martin County Schools, “Weebiscus,” for Hibiscus Children Center and the Academic Center at The Pine School.
Currently, she is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists, the American Psychological Association, The Florida Association of School Psychologists, and Cambridge Who’s Who of Professional Women.
Dr. Gage has served on the Board of the Rotary Club of Stuart, The Pine School, and Hibiscus Children Center. She has been a tireless member of The Rotary Foundation/ Matching Grants, the Rotary Youth Leadership Assembly, District 6930 Literacy Committee, and served as the mental health counselor for the district 6930 Rotary Student Exchange Program. She is a member of the Advisory Board of the Martin Memorial Foundation and is a Founder and Chair of the Women in Philanthropy group.
Pat is married to Dr. Joseph Gage, a local Cardiologist, for 34 years, and is the proud mother of two wonderful sons, Mark and Christopher, and an inspiring daughter-in-law, Lily.

Gina Penaflor, MD, FAAP

Dr. Gina, a native Californian, is a board certified pediatrician and mother of a teen, a tween, and an elementary school child. She attended the University of California at Berkeley and Los Angeles, studying anatomy and majoring in Kinesiology, before completing her medical degree at George Washington School of Medicine and pediatric residency at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
She has practiced in multiple areas for the past 18 years as a pediatric hospitalist, a primary care physician, and briefly, as a pediatric emergency medicine physician. Currently, she works part-time at a local primary care group in southeastern Florida.Her goal is to provide pediatric care with warmth and to arm her parents and their children with medical know-how.
Her life's loves include a hubby of 20 years and her three children. She is often found driving her kids around town for various activities, volunteering for her children's schools, and writing her unending novel on her laptop while drinking a hot cup of vanilla latte.
